The International Commission of Culture and Diplomatic Relations (ICCDR) celebrated United Nations Day at Hotel Green Park, Hyderabad, emphasizing the urgent need for reform in the UN Security Council and advocating for India's permanent membership in the Council.
The symposium, themed "Need to Reform the UN Security Council in the Changing World Scenario," brought together eminent personalities from diplomatic, administrative, and academic fields to deliberate on cultural diplomacy, sustainable peace, and India's evolving global role.
Shri A.V. Ranganath, IPS, Commissioner, HYDRA, attended as Chief Guest, highlighting Hyderabad's pioneering efforts in environmental protection, lake rejuvenation, and flood prevention. He emphasized that citizen participation and awareness are key to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and sustainable urban governance.
Col. Bhupendra Budhori and Maj. S.P.S. Oberoi, Guests of Honour, spoke on strengthening international cooperation, promoting global peace, and integrating cultural diplomacy into policy-making.
The event also saw the participation of Padma Kanta Hazarika, Officer on Special Duty, Assam Tourism Development Corporation, and Sarsing Engti, Chairman, Dorothy Voluntary Association and former leader of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NFDB). Both delivered insightful speeches on the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals in Assam, emphasizing the importance of inclusive development, tourism-led growth, and cultural reconciliation in the northeastern states.
During the program, ICCDR introduced a preliminary collaboration proposal between the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRA), the United Nations Disaster Management System, and ICCDR. The draft aims to explore cooperation in disaster management, climate resilience, and sustainable urban planning, aligning with the Sendai Framework (2015–2030) and SDGs 11 & 13.
Dr. Srinivas Eluri, Secretary General of ICCDR, reiterated that India's leadership in peacekeeping, diplomacy, and sustainable development justifies its rightful position as a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
The event concluded with the presentation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Awards to distinguished individuals for their contributions to culture, diplomacy, and humanitarian work.




The International Commission of Culture and Diplomatic Relations (www.iccdr.in) proudly represented India at the United Nations Headquarters in New York during the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) conference held from March 10 to 21. The Indian delegation comprised a distinguished team including Dr. Sunitha Eluri, Dr. Vedhavati Dinesh, Ms. Vineela, and Mr. Syed Ashraf, who actively participated in high-level discussions on global gender issues. The team engaged in an interactive dialogue with representatives of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), focusing on critical themes such as women's empowerment, sustainability, gender equality, and inclusive employment opportunities. Furthermore, the delegation had the unique opportunity to meet with ambassadors from various countries and interact with key representatives of intergovernmental organizations, strengthening diplomatic ties and promoting international cooperation on cultural and gender-based initiatives.




Mr. Ashraf Syed, Assistant Secretary General of ICCDR and expert in low-code and emerging technologies, played a prominent role in the global dialogue at the 2025 World Bank Spring Meetings.




The International Commission of Culture and Diplomatic Relations (ICCDR) hosted a grand Human Rights Day Celebration at the Telangana Saraswata Parishad, Abids, Hyderabad. The event, held on December 15, 2024, brought together luminaries from diverse fields to honor exceptional contributions to human rights, culture, and diplomacy, presided over by His Excellency Dr. Srinvias Eluri, Secretary General of the ICCDR. The celebration began at 10:00 AM, graced by the presence of His Excellency Dr. Avanindra Kumar Dandamudi, Consul General of the Republic of Madagascar. In his address, Dr. Dandamudi spoke passionately about the global importance of protecting human dignity and the collective responsibility of nations to uphold these values. Complementing this sentiment, Dr. Srinivasa Rao Eluri, Secretary General of the ICCDR, emphasized the role of cultural diplomacy in fostering human rights awareness across borders and Human Rights Day Oath was taken by all the dignitaries on this occassion.

Dr. Srinivas Rao Eluri, an eminent diplomat and Secretary General of the International Commission of Culture and Diplomatic Relations, has received an invitation to attend as an observer and representative at the United Nations Organization in New York for the conference on the "Commission Status on Women," scheduled to start from the 11th to the 22nd of March at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA.
Dr Eluri attended the above said conference in New York on 11th, 12th, 13th as Guest and observer. Dr. Srinivas represented United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Consultative Status member, Tripla Difesa Olnus. The opening session taken place in United Nations General Assembly His Excellency Antonio Gutttaru Secretary General UN presided the conference.
Representatives from 5000 governments, international organizations, intergovernmental organizations like UNESCO, WHO, the World Bank, and non-governmental organizations from 193 countries worldwide will participate to discuss the STATUS OF THE COMMISSION ON WOMEN, with a main focus on the need for more reforms and women's empowerment along with sustainable development.
Dr. Srinivas Rao Eluri also participated in the Sustainable Development Goals Conference at the United Nations in New York last September for his outstanding contribution to gender equality. Dr. Srinivas Eluri received his basic education in Khammam, completed his post-graduation in International Law from Osmania University, and obtained his PhD in International Law from the Philippines in Diplomacy and International Law.
Dr Eluri interacted with many countries heads and women Empowerment and Global leaders from Europe, Middle East, Asia and made bilateral agreements on Diplomacy and Cultural exchange. Andhra Pradesh India State Women Commission members Ms Jayasree, Adviser Padmaja Reddy also taken active role along with Dr Srinivas Eluri. Dr Eluri made a remarkable statement on Palestinians and Israel ceasefire agreement implementation also he emphasized on the need of immediate establishment Peace and Security in tha region.




In response to the gracious invitation extended by His Excellency King Aunung Ugrasena of Puri Agung Singaraja, the Indonesia Cultural Exchange Tour, coupled with the esteemed Royal Awards Ceremony and the joyous celebration of the Royal Princess's Birthday on December 16, 2023, unfolded as a resounding success. Spearheaded by Dr. Srinivas Rao Eluri, Secretary General of the International Commission of Culture & Diplomatic Relations (ICCDR), the event left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape. The splendid festivities took place at the luxurious venue of The Bandha Hotel & Suites in Legian Bali, providing an exquisite backdrop for the exchange of cultural riches and the bestowal of prestigious awards.
The culmination of this event was marked by the conferment of the Royal Family Kingship Award upon the esteemed delegates. This prestigious accolade is reserved for individuals whose positive contributions have significantly impacted society. Dr. Srinivas Eluri and his distinguished team took the opportunity to present a Doctorate degree to the esteemed Bali Indonesia King Aunung Ugrasena during the regal ceremony. Adding a touch of cultural diversity, Miss Govravi Reddy, a President of India Awardee, graced the occasion with a mesmerizing performance rooted in Indian traditions. Furthermore, the event was adorned with captivating performances by several Indonesian artists, showcasing the richness of classical Bali Indonesia art forms.

Theme: Changing Trend of Women Empowerment
As a part of International Women's Day Celebrations 2023, a Conference was held on 12th March 2023 by International Commission of Culture & Diplomatic Relations with a theme of Changing Trend of Women Empowerment. With delegates of 100 plus members at Telangana Saraswatha Parishath – Hyderabad. The event commenced with the adorable Indian classical dance by Ms. Gayathri Sekhar and followed by the Kavi Sammelan of 16 Eminent Poets. Then, there was an inspiring welcome address by the chairman of conference Dr. Srinivas Eluri, ICCDR Secretary General. Dr. Eluri emphasized about this special day which celebrates womanhood and pays tribute to the indomitable spirit of women across the globe.
Smt Akula Lalitha Raghavender, Chairperson, TS Women Co-operative Development Corporation, Govt of Telangana was invited as Chief Guest to address in the conference on theme of Changing Trend of Women Empowerment. She has addressed on the importance of financial planning, financial independence of women. Smt Akula Lalitha also stressed the importance of SDG 5 – Women's equality and empowerment which is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and is also integral to all dimensions of inclusive and sustainable development. This conference also attended by special guests and eminent speakers from different fields. Dr. Swarupa Glory, Director General, MSME, Hyderabad said that women have the skills and resources to improve their economic status and move out of poverty and in addition women should plan how to utilize their income and other resources. Special Guest – Mrs. Mohammed Zubeida Sultana Begum (Famous Telugu Film Actor Ali 's wife) stressed on the important aspect of social empowerment and addressed prevailing gender norms and roles, in order to improve women's participation and position in civil, economic and social spheres. Guest Speaker CA Krishana Wadher delivered her speech on how effectively women executed their financial planning during Covid-19 in order support families during crisis. She launched her published book "Finance for Sheroes" on this special occasion. Special guests like Choppala Jhansi Rani, Dy. DEO (Rtd) and Vijaya Laxmi, Multi language Singer are also focused on improving women's access to secure livelihoods and economic resources, alleviate their extreme responsibilities with regard to housework. Ms. Chintagunta Jyothi emphasized on positive change in society in her address. Advocate Aruna Kumari said that our society should acknowledge women's contribution to the economic sphere and create more opportunities for them. Prof. Dr. VJE Caroline presided over this conference, delivered key-note address on the financial journey of women – overcoming challenges and setbacks for financial independence. She also shared her tales of struggle and success in serving slums in Hyderabad through her NGO called The Life Foundation.

They appreciated ICCDR for the support to SDG 5 and the goals of the women by arranging the conference to make specific and achievable financial goals that will help them achieve stability and success. At the end of the conference Chief Guest . Smt Akula Lalitha Raghavender, Chairperson, TS Women Co-operative Development Corporation and the chairman of conference Dr. Srinivas Eluri, ICCDR Secretary General bestowed and honored eminent women leaders from different fields with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Award in Gender Equality.

This grand celebration of International Women's Day and Conference on Changing Trend of Women Empowerment was initiated by Amb. Dr Srinivasa Rao LLM ( International Law) Ph.D, Former Ambassador at large International commission to Diplomatic Relations Human rights and Peace UN UGO, with Diplomatic immunities & privileges. He was also the Director, Royal Academy of Global Peace USA and Indian Representative of prestegious Brampton International university , Canada. He was also the Founder President Culture Book of Records India and CEO Swastha Environment and Human Rights Foundation ( UN global Compact Signatory). He is the Arbitrator, International Arbitrator Court and Indian Representative to George Washington University of Peace. He participated in many international conferences and International Awards Events. He visited many south East Asia countries Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Asia Pacific counties Philippines, in Europe – Germany Netherlands, Belgium France and Middle East, UAE on official assignments. He received international Commission IGO, Prestigious Presidents Medal, Man of Humanity 1918 Philippines. Ten more International awards. He was the recipient of three Honorary Doctorate degrees; Academy of Universal Global Peace USA, International Relations from International Open university and Asian University International UK. Dr. Srinivas Eluri organized United Nations Day – International Conference on 24th October, 2022 and also organized Human Rights Day conference on 10th December 2022. Both these conferences were held in Hyderabad. Dr Sunitha Eluri, Asst Secretary General of ICCDR received Guests as per protocol and honors. With the concluding remarks of Dr. Srinivas Eluri on "Women Empowerment is the need of the Hour", the program ended in a fruitful note.
